After a 5+ year hiatus, Gwyniver and Aaron began collaborating on new music during the COVID lockdown of 2020. These creative sessions led to both their first release in many years, an EP called The Mirror Lake EP (released 12/21/20), and now a full length CS; Walking Wilderness. Walking Wilderness invites the listener on a journey of discovery, a processing of complex emotions and an adventure through varying sonic landscapes. A rendition of the hero’s journey as told by WHLC. Walking Wilderness reflects on the after effects of infatuation, the expanding awareness of personal accountability in a world upside-down and the ebb and flow of personal growth. Each song was carefully written and recorded through an exchange of files shared and ideas cultivated and expanded through remote conversations. Crafted from an array of acoustic instruments, synthesizers and advanced computer software, WW becomes a world of its own. A world of self reflections and universal symbols.
